April 2013 There are now nearly 300 dog friendly places (all verified before being placed in the listings), services and events and charities listed on Bring the Dog. Not only that but there is an interactive map with the all the locations listed, full text search, new categories and sections, integration with social media and more. There is a lot more to come (not to mention several hundred places waiting verification) but our human needs your help (he needs help generally to be honest)….you know lots of places, companies, services and charities that we are not aware of… share them with other dog fans by sharing them on Bring the Dog ! It’s easy to do and benefits everybody and their dog Lots of Love ‘n Wags Bella and Tansy
Bring the Dog ! is an on-line guide to places that are dog friendly.It includes dog friendlyplaces , dog friendly camping, dog friendly pubs, dog friendly hotels, dog friendly b&b, dog friendly guest houses, dog friendly self catering. I also covers dog services such as vets, dog walking, dog grooming, dog sitters, pet shops, boarding kennels and last but not least dog events. We are very keen to support dog charities and will be having a 'Charity of the month' feature starting in April 2013 Run by dog owners for dog owners the web site has recently been completely revamped for 2013 and includes full text search, events calendar and interactive maps to make locating doggy places easier. New features will be added in due course Businesses and charities will be entitled to a free entry (We hope eventually to finance the running of the site by getting sponsorship and selling enhanced entries and other services to listed businesses. We are prepared to carry the costs for the time being). It covers the entire UK, we would be very pleased to have submissions from other countries. We can list as many businesses and charities as you can add, simply register and fill in the appropriate form on the website It will be more current than any printed guide could hope to be. This site is run by a dog and its owners for dogs and their owners.
